The diet market is flooded with false promises, dangerous fad diets and quick fixes, so it can be so hard to decide which way to turn. Make the wrong choice and you may lose weight, but you’ll revert back to old eating habits in time, gaining even more weight and increased body fat back. In time, you will turn to another diet, hoping this one will work and the cycle starts all over again.
There are also a lot of diet books available; some hard to understand or hard to follow unless you don’t mind weighing food or counting calories. But worst of all are diets that suggest you avoid particular foods altogether! The only winner here is the diet industry!
Proper nutritional choices should be planned around an attitude of patience. I can help you to lose a lot in a few weeks but it will not be fun, probably will not stay off, and is not healthy in the long run. I prefer to take a longer-term view when it comes to weight loss, putting together an eating plan that you can actually follow and enjoy, not just for a few weeks but for your whole life.
My weight management plan focuses on achieving good health with a whole food eating regime, one that can be followed for life! The plan can be applied to your own lifestyle, taking into account income, working hours, commitments and social life. If the plan is followed, you should succeed in your goal to lose weight. And why not – hundreds of my clients have already done so already – losing anywhere from 20 to 90 pounds.
